Mickelson Wins DBC to Grab Top FedEx Cup Spot

Lefty finally got Tiger by the tail and held on tight enough to win the Duetche Bank Championship by two strokes on Monday afternoon in Boston, Mass.

The closest Tiger got on the back nine was 1 stroke away, for a few seconds. On the 161 yard par-3 16th, Tiger sank a 10-foot birdie putt only to be followed by Mickelson's own from 6 feet out.

With the win, Mickelson claims the top position in the race for the FedEx Cup with Tiger close behind in third position. This weekend is the BMW Championship and Mickelson has already made it clear that he will not be in the field citing business and personal reasons.
